The design concept for these two totally gutted bathrooms was made easier by the fact that the client’s had quite a few absolute certainties. The main one of which was the fact the one bathroom would have a shower only and the other bathroom, due to space constraints, would need to have a combined bath and shower. The other certainty was that they wanted all tapware and finishings to be matt black, to compliment that style of the house overall.
Looking at the overall Scandinavian theme for the home and the strong presence of beige, white and wood throughout the home, we proposed a soft beige tile for the wet walls and white paint for the rest, to help balance the budget. Our favourite feature are the custom oak vanities with round handles.
