This home was imagined as an escapist retreat. Created to be a calming and meditative home, it uses a singular colour palette which is softened through the addition of warm wood and the connection to nature.
It immediately made us think of the ‘no trend’ trend approach to design that we discussed earlier this week. The home showcases curved architectural details, feature walls and natural materials. It also embraces biophilic design, with walls and windows all opening generously to the surrounding garden. The interiors are deliberately casual, creating an effortless and relaxed setting that calls our name!
