With the arrival of spring, lowered lockdown measures and our eternal hope of a gorgeous (carefree) summer ahead, we know that everyone is itching for change.
If you – like us – are looking to refresh things in your home over the coming warmer months, then these on point spring trends are worth considering.
STRIPES ON STRIPES ON STRIPES
Whether it’s your outdoor living space, or a spring refresh for your bedroom, its all about stripes this season. Take your striped duvet, compliment it with striped pillows and thrown on a few striped scatters. Whatever you do make sure they don’t match! Its all about playing with proportions and mixing up different sizes, colours and styles. We are crushing big time!
SCULPTED RATTAN
The love affair with natural materials continue, especially in the form of sculptural rattan. Most often seen in oversized, curvaceous lampshades, this versatile material is proving that it can thrive in a number of applications. People are becoming more creative and bold with their wicker accents, making it a decor choice that transcends the 70s connotations we often associate it with.

POPS OF COLOUR
Creating statement with pops of colour is nothing new. However the approach of specifically using primary colours against a muted setting adds a considered and somewhat artistic effect to the space.
COTTAGECORE
If you’re not up to speed, cottagecore is design aesthetic that idealises rural life. Think lots of notasligic countryside scenes with botanical motifs, flouncy florals and vintage inspired pieces. This style is associated with home comforts and a sense of nostalgia, however we are especially loving the colourful floral prints we are seeing coming through.
STATEMENT VASES
We dived into statement vases in this blog post and we’re standing by it. Statement vases are where it is at this spring!
