Not sure about you guys, but we’ve still got sand in our toes. Some days the holidays felt like an endless summer, while other days life felt like it was moving too quickly.
As we watched 2018 disappear in a blur, here at The Home Studio we’ve decided that 2019 is all about slow living. While this concept can mean a variety of things to different people, for us it’s about not getting lost in project details and taking time to look up and see what is happening around us, connecting more with people in our lives and achieving a more consistent work balance over the peaks and troughs that is often associated with project work.

We feel this concept works quite well with our Less is More approach towards design. Focus on what you need, what you truly love and let go of the rest. Fewer, better things typically create a sense of calm and order in your home, which is just what we all need waiting for us at the end of a long, busy day.
