Am I speaking too soon? Over here at THS HQ we’ve got that summer feeling and we are loving it! To be fair I did put our October mood together during one of last weeks’ beautiful summer days, so was very much influenced by the good weather and promise of summer everlasting.
While soaking up the rays I was also day dreaming of small overhaul and furniture update for my deck area. What started out as the most practical plan of changing the outdoor sofa covers to a white and grey neutral palette (which to be fair will suit the actual deck setting and current furniture best) quickly escalated into something a lot more fun and whimsical, bringing in lots of greens, tropical elements and a touch of blush to round it off.

While I’m not sure how well that would go down with the housemate, I am still feeling inspired by the thought of these summer updates. All month long we hope to keep you inspired as we show you more project Before + Afters, as well as keeping the focus on outdoor living (and of course keeping the dream of this makeover alive!)
