When the mercury rises above 30 degrees celcius in the Mother City, we think we will spend our evenings sipping cocktails and watching the sunset at Camp Bay’s new contemporary seaside diner, Surf Shack.
With its prime location, panoramic views and coastal cool interiors, this is the perfect spot to cool off and unwind. Jo and Gregor Bremer of Soda Custom are responsible for the diner’s rustic yet stylish feel.
They aimed to create a laidback buzz loaded with natural textures in neutral tones, allowing the turquoise ocean to be the star of the show. With the use of timber, bamboo, rattan, woven and rope elements, raw linen, tan leather and rough plastered walls, the space oozes warmth, personality and interest.
